Kings Corners is a fast moving form of
solitaire that is easy to learn. The goal is
use up the deck by placing cards on a
four-by-four grid. Kings must go in the
corners, queens on the sides (between the
corners), and jacks on the top and bottom
(between the corners. Other cards can be
played anywhere, but if you block all the
positions for, say, the kings, and then draw
a king, you lose. When all the squares have
cards on them, you can remove all pairs of
cards that sum up to 10, thus making room for
more cards. We never came close to winning.
